Ultraviolet Transmitting Visible Absorbing Filter transmits the ultraviolet region but absorb the visible region. The filters are UV black ultraviolet glass primarily used for single extraction of ultraviolet rays. They are often utilized for selectively transmitting the 253.7nm, 254nm, 310nm and 365nm wavelengths, which includes the representative line spectra of mercury lamps. Used in medical applications, inspection devices, scientific instruments, gel imaging and analysis systems.
