This filter is designed for CCD/CMOS cameras and is suitable for applications that require precise control of light wavelengths. It has a specific cut-off wavelength range that can effectively block infrared light with wavelengths of 650nm – 700nm and above, while allowing visible light to pass through, providing the camera with a purer visible light image and reducing the interference of infrared light on imaging.
Working Principle
The filter filters light of a specific wavelength based on the principle of optical interference and the absorption characteristics of the material. Its internal structure is composed of multiple layers of optical thin films, which produce different interference effects on light of different wavelengths through precise design and coating process. For infrared light of 650nm – 700nm and above, the interference between the thin films will cause these lights to cancel each other out and cannot pass through the filter; while for the visible light part, the thin film allows it to pass smoothly, thus achieving the cutoff of infrared light and the transmission of visible light.
